Online resources: Abstract: Elisa Anuat, Don Severino Agricultural College, April 1989, Response of Sugar Palm (Arenga pinnata) to "Different Liquid Media" was conducted from January 25 to February 4, 1989 in Banaba Cerca, Indang Cavite. This was undertaken to determine the effects of the different liquid media on the weight, color, palatability and soluble solid of the endosperm as well as to identify the most recommendable treatment for sugar palm seeds. The fruits were gathered from the tree, and the seeds were separated from the stalks. *Endosperms were uniformly placed and distributed to 24 containers consisting of four replications and six treatments. Randomized complete block design was used to test the significance of the study. The different treatments were as follows: Tl pure water, T2 rice washing, T3 coconut water, T4 85% water + 15% salt, T5 85% water + 15% sugar, T6 85% water + 15% alum (tawas).. Based on the result of this study, the use of 85% water + 15% sugar as liquid media shows the most favorable result. It produces the heaviest, whitest, and the most palatable endosperm as compared to the other treatments used in this study.* the endosperm of sugar palm is edible, whitiest portion usually oval in shape
