Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Aiza E. Bihis. The study was conducted to develop a Management Information System for Barangay Carasuchi to serve as a solution to the problem they were encountering in their manual processing and transaction. The officials of the Barangay Carasuchi has been experiencing difficulty in preparing reports such as clearances and forms, blotter reports, file management, inventory of drugs or medicines and other problems that were commonly encountered within the barangay. To address the problem, thus the study aimed to develop a Management Information System for the barangay. It will have a central repository of all the record included in the system. Having this system will make the file management more efficient and easier. The system provides security to the information in the barangay like information of their residents, records of blotter reports and all the transaction that were commonly performed in the barangay through restricting the access of every individual based on their positions in the barangay. The authors used the Prototyping Methodology for the overall process in the development of the system. There were phases that authors followed to achieve a reliable and a fully functional system. These phases were requirement gathering, quick design building prototype, user evaluation, refining prototype, and engineer product. These phases were religiously followed by the authors
