Abstract: ALDAY, MARLON JAMES and DALIGCON, REGIN BRYAN L. Knowledge and Attitude of Cavite State University Students Towards Republic Act No. 7877 "Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995". Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Development Management major in Training Program Management. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Dr. Marietta C. Mojica This study was conducted to: (1) describe the demographic characteristics of the students in terms of age, sex, course, and year level; (2) ascertain the level of knowledge of students on R.A. 7877 "Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995"; (3) ascertain the attitude of the students on R.A. 7877; (4) determine the significant difference on the participants' level of knowledge with regards to their demographic characteristics; (5) determine the significant difference on the participants' attitude with regards to their demographic characteristics; (6) determine the significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of the participants towards R.A. 7877 "Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995". Descriptive correlation research design was used to present the data. The participants of the study were the students from different colleges of the university, namely: CVMBS, CSPEAR, CON, CCJ, CAFENR, CAS, CEMDS, CED, and CEIT. A total of 387 students served as the participants of this study. Frequency count, mean, percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, Pearson 's Correlation Coefficient, and Analysis of Variance were used to analyze the data. The participants had an average age of 20 years, mostly female, mainly from the College of Engineering and Information Technology, and on their third year of study. Most of the student participants were aware and generally -knowledgeable" on R.A. 7877. The students' level of knowledge was found to be significantly different only when grouped by the college. The students' attitude towards the aspects of R.A. 7877 was -highly favorable". There was a significant difference on the attitude of the students when grouped by the college. The study found that the students' level of knowledge and attitude on R.A. 7877 or the "Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995" had a significant relationship.
