The study was conducted October 13 to November 27, 2015 to determine the sources of capital and business performance of water refiling station business in selected municipalities of Cavite .Specially, the study aimed to: determine the socioeconomic characteristics of water refilling station business owners; identify the business profile of water refilling station business in selected municipalities of Cavite; determine the most common source of capital used in water refilling station businesses; determine the business performance of water refilling station business; find out the relationship between business profile and sources of capital of water refilling station business; identify the relationship between business profile and business performance of water refilling station business; and determine the relationship between sources of capital and business performance of water refilling station business . A total of 128 participants were interviewed using an interview schedule. Mean, frequency, range, percentage, and financial ratios were used to analyze the data .Pearson correlation and Point Biserial correlation coefficient were used as statistical treatment in the study. Most of the business owners of water refilling station and business ages 38 to 47; male; married; and college graduate . Results also showed that 95 percent of the water refilling station business were solely owned;52 percent were operating for two to years; the respondents have a mean of Php444,882.81 as initial capital ; the respondents have a mean of Php174,218.75 as operating capital ; 36 percent of water refilling station business had three workers; 95 percent of participants had declared that their initial capital was solely from personal saving .The profitability of water refilling station business in selected municipalities of Cavite shows a mean gross profit margin, operating profit margin and net profit margin of 80.73%, 29.76% and 27.24% respectively. For the business liquidity, current ratio and quick ratio had a mean of48.3014 and 47.435 respectively. The business had a mean of asset turnover of 1.25, inventory turnover of 5.0581, and working capital turnover of 1.58 in term of its efficiency and payback period of 1.58. Initial capital and operating had a significant association with personal savings and borrowing as source of capital while number of workers had a significant relationship with the family saving. Current ratio and quick ratio had a significant relationship with initial capital and operating capital of water refilling station business. Gross profit margin and payback period had a significant relationship with initial capital. Operating profit margin and net operating profit margin had a significant relationship with the number of workers while there is a significant relationship between personal savings, gross profit margin, current ration, quick ratio and payback period. Gross profit margin had a significant relationship with borrowing. And lastly, family savings of water refilling station business had a significant relationship with inventory turnover and working capital turn over.
