Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Danikka A. Cubillo. Mini Meltz operated for three months, from the January 18, 2017 to the April 06, 2017. This project was conducted at the University Mall, Cavite State University. The main objective of Mini Meltz was to provide happy food in an affordable price for all ages that can satisfy their wants. Specifically, this aimed to: determine the profitability of a small scale food business; gain knowledge in business management and insights from the operation of a food retailing project to apply it in a real world scenario; and identify the problems encountered in the business operations and suggest feasible solutions. Mini Meltz offered mini ice cream in a palette, ice cream with fries, banana split, ice crepe cone, 3.5 ml pints and a 1-liter ice cream. To promote the business, the entrepreneurs used interne marketing, personal selling, pre-ordering, free delivery and even sale promotions in the form of discounts, loyalty stubs and raffle promos. The business was in the form of partnership with an initial capital of P30, 000 that was equally shared by the three entrepreneurs. For the last month of operation, the enterprise generated total sales of P87, 120 and after deducting the operation expenses, a net income of P40, 947.75 was generated.
