Online resources: Abstract: The project "Response of Mongo to Urea Ferti-lizer" was conducted in Barrio Lumipa9 Genera]. Aguinaldo, Cavite, from August to November 1986 to encourage farmers to use urea fertilizer and to increase their income through proper application of fertilizer in the production of mongo. An area of 2,500 square meters was used and fertilized with 50 kilograms of urea fertilizer (45-0-0) as basal application. Planting of mongo was done on August 319 1986 by broadcasting and covered with a fine soil by harrowing. The mongo plant was harvested on November 16, 1986. Results of the project showed that planting mongo with basal application of urea fertilizer is profitable to farmer by giving a net income of 11530000 in one-fourth hectare of land.
