Abstract: VALDEZ, ERICK PAUL S. and VELANDRES, QUINNO ROSS T., Design and Development of an Automated Putotsinta Maker. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2018. Adviser: Mr. Bienvenido C. Sarmiento. The study was conducted to design and develop an automated Putotsointa maker. The project aimed to minimize the time and human intervention in making puto, and kutsinta. It will be beneficial for small-scale puto and kutsinta producers by speeding up the operation of and the puto and kutsintra process. The general objective of the study was to design and develop an automated Putotsnita machine. The study specifically aimed to: design and construct the controller's circuit for the system; design and fabricate the automated Putotsinta machine; develop an Arduino program for the system; test and evaluate the system based on the following parameters; speed of operation; output quality; and efficiency; and conduct a cost analysis of the system. The automated Putotsinta maker was equipped with dispensing unit, mixing unit, steaming unit, and a microcontroller unit. It had 5 DC motors for the dispensing of the ingredients, and 2 AC geared motors that were responsible for the functionality of the m icing and tilting of the fabricated mixer. The result of the evaluation has showed that all the parts of the machine functioned well according to the program input. The results also showed that the outputs met the required quality. The study met its objectives, being able to produce automatically-made puto and kutsinta comparable to the manually-made ones. In terms of speed of operation, it was more efficient than the manual method.
