Majority of them were college graduates, married for 14-25 years, have 2 dependent children and below, and have monthly net family income of P5 000 to P40 000. Most of the participants' financial manager (person responsible for handling and managing financial tasks) was the wife while the participants' decision maker (person responsible for making major financial decisions) were both of the spouses. Majority of the participants live in houses they owned. The result implied that among the socio-economic profile, only the person responsible for managing and handling financial management tasks has a significant relationship with the financial management attitude. And only the educational attainment and the person responsible for managing and handling financial management tasks were found to have a significant relationship with cash management practice.
