Abstract: EUFEMIO ANGELICA U., SACAL ANA JOY T., and VILLAVECER MA. CZARINAH. VES' Shakes and Pastries. Enterprise Development Project. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2013. Adviser: Ms. lluminada R. Hernandez. The enterprise development project was conducted to enable the students to apply the knowledge they gained in business management to actual business operation. Specifically, the project aimed to determine the profitability of shakes and pastries; develop marketing strategies for shakes and pastries; and identify the problems encountered in the production of shakes and pastries. The project was conducted from November 26, 2012, to March 2013 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. An initial capital of P30,000.00 which was equally shared by the entrepreneurs was used for the three-month operation. During the operation of the business, problems encountered like unavailability or materials and misunderstanding between the customers and the entrepreneurs. In the operation of the project, the entrepreneurial skill and knowledge of the entrepreneurs were improved. The products sold by the entrepreneur include plain buko shake, flavored buko shake, coffee shake, macaroons, flavored macaroons, tarts, and brownies. VES' Pastries and Shakes had a total sale of P 60, 102.00, cost of goods sold was worth P 29, 141.25, operating expense amounted to P 12,201.37 and a net income of P 18, 776.53 was obtained from the operation. Through this entrepreneurial project, the student’s capabilities, social skills and techniques in managing the business were developed.
