Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Mr. Gener T. Cueno. This study was conducted in resort hotels in selected areas of Cavite from January to February 2018. The study was undertaken to assess the social media content and service quality of resort hotels in selected areas of Cavite. Specifically, this aimed to identify the socio-demographic profile of customers in terms of age, sex, civil status, monthly income, educational attainment and employment status; determine the most commonly visited social media content about resort hotels; determine the level of service quality of resort hotel; assess the social media content used by the resort hotels. The descriptive research was used in the design of this study. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources of data. The participants of the study were the customers of resort hotels during the conduct of the study in selected resort hotels in Dasmarinas City, General Trias City, Tagaytay City, Kawit and Bacoor City. Quota sampling technique was used to obtain sample size 200 participants. Frequencies, percentage, ranking, mean, median mode and standard deviation were computed to answer the objectives of the study. Results show that the average age of customers of resort hotels was 26 years old, majority were male, single, have a monthly income of P17,068.00, have reached college level and unemployed. Facebook is the major social media type used by participants in searching particular resort hotels. In terms of level of service quality of resort hotels, in five dimensions, the reliability is the highest result and empathy is the lowest. For the assess of social media content used by the resort hotels the assessment is very good. In addition, the participants are satisfied with the quality of service given by the resort hotels in selected areas of Cavite.
