The study was conducted to determine the socio-demographic profile, level of emotional intelligence, leadership style, and team sales performance of the participants. It was to determine if there was significant difference in level of emotional intelligence, leadership style, and team sales performance when grouped based on the socio-demographic profile of the participants. The study also aimed to determine if the level of emotional intelligence and leadership style affect team sales performance of the participants. And lastly, it aimed to determine if there was a significant relationship between the level of emotional intelligence and type of leadership style of the participants. Descriptive and correlational methods were used in this study. The data were gathered through survey questionnaires adapted from previous studies. The participants of the study include 78 middle-level sales managers of life insurance companies in the Philippines. The study revealed that majority of the participants aged above 51 years old, female, with Bachelor's degree, with 31 to 40 agents in their team, and 11 to 15 years in service as manager in insurance industry. The level of emotional intelligence of the participants was above average wherein social skill was the most practiced emotional intelligence ability. Majority of the participants have transformational leadership style. Both the level of emotional intelligence and the leadership style of the participants did not have significant effect to team sales performance. However, the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between level of emotional intelligence and leadership style.
