Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2022. Adviser: Dr. Marissa C. Lontoc. The Learning management systems have several security issues that include protection against manipulation, authentication, availability, confidentiality and data integrity. Over time, many features are usually added to the learning management system. Therefore, efforts should be made to make this sensitive information as much secured as possible. Hence, this study primarily aims to determine the level of understanding of students on learning management system in CvSU in terms of security of their identity and school activities. Also the significant difference between the demographic profile and level of understanding of selected students on learning management security system. The descriptive method as the main approach to conduct the study.Most of the users of learning management systems preferred to change their password before using the system. It helps to lessen the chance to expose in risk and threats while using the learning management system. Having the personal email address for authentication, to protect their identity in using the system.They are prefer to edit or view the material uploaded in the systems so that they can manage their personal details that may appear in the system. Theinteraction with the facilitator of the system in order to have a clear understanding of what is the agenda, and they are using another platform to communicate to the users.
