Abstract: DE ASIS, TONI LEE A., DE LEON, AARON JOSEPH D., DINLASAN, JOBER G., ESPINELI, SYMON ANTHONY R., REBUCIAS, JEFFERSON A., ROSANES, JOHN WARREN C., Design and Development of Fire Alarm and Detection System Trainer. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Electrical Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Mr. Garry M. Cahibaybayan. The study was conducted from January 2019 to April 2019 at the Electrical Laboratory, Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University — Main Campus, Indang, Cavite. The objectives of the study are the following: 1. design fire detection and alarm system trainer; 2. develop the fire detection and alarm system trainer; 3. test and evaluate the functionality of fire detection and alarm system trainer; and 4. Conduct cost computation. Specifically, it aimed to provide the students hands-on experience on familiarization, assembling and disassembling It was tested and evaluated at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite on January 2019 to April 2019. The study was conducted to design and develop fire detection and alarm system. It also provided the students hands-on experience on familiarization, assembling and disassembling and troubleshooting of the fire alarm and detection system. The design project included the fire alarm control panel, smoke and heat detectors and terminal block. The fire detection and alarm system trainer was conducted and evaluated for functionality, aesthetics, workability, durability, economy and safety by a panel of evaluators_ The total cost of the project was P29,568. 00.
