David The study was conducted to determine the employees, perception on workplace condition and health and safety practices and its effect on productivity. Specifically, it aimed to: a) describe the socio demographic profile of the employees; b) determine the common workplace conditions of employees in construction companies; c) determine the health and safety practices implemented in construction companies; d) determine the productivity level of employees in construction companies; e) ascertain if there is a significant relationship between workplace condition and productivity in selected construction companies in Cavite; f) ascertain if there is a significant relationship between health and safety practices and productivity in selected construction companies in Cavite; and g) ascertain if there is a significant difference between unskilled, skilled and first level management; and formulate a workplace health and safety practice suitable for a construction company. A self - made survey questionnaire was used to collect data for this study. The average age of the participants was 31 years and 7 months. The participants were all male. Fifty-three percent were single and the rest were married. The results illustrated that the average monthly income in all positions is P10,632.54. Result implied that workplace condition like water supply, electricity, barracks, tools being use and workplace signage has a significant relationship with the productivity perception of the participants in terms of their nature of job, punctuality and attendance, initiative and human relation. As well as to health and safety like safety tools, work area, and operation about health and safety. Result showed that an acceptable workplace condition and health and safety practices can provide improvement to employees' productivity.
