Abstract: PRIETO, ENRICO R. and TAGAPAN, CHRISTY JOY A. E-learning in Cookery (Grade 9) Subject for Francisco Osorio National High School, Trece Martires City. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2016. Adviser: Mr. Jake R. Ersando. This study was conducted to provide a better quality system in the E-learning in Cookery (Grade 9) Subject for Francisco Osorio National High School, Trece Martires City as well as to give the solution to the problems met by the Cookery teacher in the said school regarding the learning process. The system is capable of providing a fast and easy way of learning the cookery subject. It is composed of five (5) primary modules namely user management module, learning content module, recipe management module, communication module and report management module. Software development methodology was used to progressively complete the entire system, which included the planning phase, requirement analysis, design phase, implementation phase, software testing phase and evaluated phases. During the planning phase, the developer gathered and analyzed the information at Francisco Osorio National High School. For the requirement analysis, the developers performed the early initial of the requirements. The interview and survey were used as tools in executing this activity. For the design phase, the developers conducted quick analysis based on the information gathered in the requirement phase. During the software testing phase, the developers tested the functionality of the system. For the evaluation phase, the developers assessed if each module meets its specification based on the requirements. In developing the system, software tools were used such as PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) v5.3.8 as the main programming language, Hypertext Markup Language 4 (HTML), JavaScript, and My Structured Query Language v5.5.16 (MySQL), Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, Adobe Photoshop Cs6, Adobe Flash and Microsoft Word 2010. The system was evaluated by the Cookery teacher including the students. The criteria for the software evaluation were functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Based on the results of the evaluation, the software passed and was able to comply with all the requirements as it met its objectives.
