Abstract: CHAVEZ, CHEENIE Ma; CUENTO, JEMALYN S.; VIADO, JHUVIELLAINE MICHAELLA T. Awareness of Senior High School Students in Indang, Cavite on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in International Studies major in European Studies. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Prof. Alberto M. Aguilar. The study was designed to determine the level of awareness of public and private senior high school students in Indang, Cavite on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This study aimed to: determine the demographic profile of the public and private senior high school students in Indang, Cavite; determine the level of awareness of the students on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals; determine if there is a significant difference on the students' level of awareness on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals as to the students' demographic profile; identify the medium/s that influences the students' awareness on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals; and identify the students' possible contributions to help in achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The study involved 302 senior high school student participants enrolled from different public and private senior high schools in the municipality of Indang, Cavite during Academic Year 2017 2018. The study utilized stratified random sampling technique to determine the sample size. In data gathering, a survey questionnaire was used as the data gathering instrument for the study. The questionnaire was then retrieved, analyzed, evaluated, and explained using the descriptive correlational method. The findings show that as to the participants' demographic profile, majority (68.2%) belonged to the 16-17 years old age bracket; there were more male, with 53.0 percent; more participants were in Grade I l, which was equivalent to 53.3 percent; and there were more participants in STEM, with 44.7 percent. As to the level of awareness of the senior high school students on United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, 186 of the participants were slightly aware, 109 were moderately aware, only 7 were highly aware, and none of the senior high school student participants were extremely aware. Overall, it takes into account that the public and private senior high school students in Indang, Cavite were slightly aware of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The medium that influences the students' awareness on the United Nations' Sustainable Goals most is the internet, with 65.56 percent and being an advocate of the government's programs concerning the topic is the most possible contribution for the students which was equivalent to 38.74 percent. Moreover, the null hypothesis of no significant difference on the students' level of awareness on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals as to the students' demographic profile in terms of year level and academic track was rejected. With that, it is recommended that the students' awareness on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals may be strengthened by more internet access and through information dissemination by the placement of television programs about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
