A study was conducted to identify the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of foreign undergraduate students in three selected higher education institutions (HEIs) in Cavite; to determine the learning styles of foreign undergraduate students in three selected HEIS in Cavite; to determine the different teaching strategies that are exposed to the foreign undergraduate students in three selected HEIS Cavite; to determine the preferred teaching strategies of foreign undergraduate students in three selected HEIS in Cavite and to identify the education- related problems encountered by the foreign students in studying in Cavite. Descriptive design was used to determine the learning styles and preferred teaching strategies of foreign undergraduate students in three selected HEIS in Cavite. Total enumeration was used in the study, however one of the selected HEIS gave a schedule for the conduct of the study and only 12 respondents were found by the researcher to answer the questionnaire. A total of 48 foreign students served as the participants of the study. Results revealed that half of the participants were visual learners who prefer to learn and process information by seeing and looking. It was also revealed that "lecture by teacher" was the most common teaching strategy that the students are exposed to. In addition, class discussion and lecture- demonstration were often used to teach the students. Results also showed that the preferred teaching strategy of the students was the lecture method that is conducted by the professors. It was also discovered that one of the educations related problems of the students was the use of Filipino language during classes.
