The study entitled, Silang Foodie: An Android-based Marketplace Application for Local Food Services in Silang Town Proper was conducted from October 2020 to May 2022. Generally, the study aimed to promote and support local food businesses in Silang, Cavite which includes small food commercial establishments, homemade foods, and other specialty foods. Specifically, it aimed: (1) to promote local food businesses; (2) provide convenience of purchasing local food products; and (3) to innovate the local food services. It was developed using iterative development process model. The system was evaluated by 100 Silang residents and business owners for non-technical respondents and 10 IT professionals for technical respondents. An overall mean of 4.47 was obtained from the non-technical evaluation and 4.85 from the technical, which both indicates that the application fully met and far exceeded most of the participants' expectations. The system was judged to be excellent in all aspects such as functionality, reliability, usability, and helpfulness according to the overall evaluation results. It is therefore concluded that the application is a good solution to the problems that the residences are experiencing on the local food services in Silang Town Proper.
