The plant practice was conducted from July 11, 2022, to August 16, 2022, at Blaine Manufacturing Corporation at Blaine Industrial Complex Brgy.14 Kamias Road Governor's Drive Bo. Bancal Carmona, Cavite, Philippines 4116 for a total of 200 hours. The plant practice focused on the microbial analysis and quality control of raw materials and finished goods wherein the student-trainee acquired skills and knowledge on how to conduct tests and on how microbial techniques are done inside the laboratory. The specific tests and techniques that the trainee acquired are pH and moisture content determination, specific gravity, mass on volume, granulation, peka test, sensory evaluation, proper cleaning and sanitizing equipment. The student trainee also attained good working relationships among the employees of BMC. It is recommended that the company should hire more employees, that will make the work more convenient and faster inside the laboratory.
